aFe Momentum GT Pro 5R Cold Air Intake System 15-17 GM SUV V8 5.3L/6.2L
Unique One-Piece High Quality Housing W/ Sight Window: A custom CAD designed roto-molded housing made from heat soak resistant material eliminates the use of multiple components and ensures the coolest air intake charge available. A large clear sight window allows for filter inspection without removal of the air box. The roto-molded housing is made out of black cross-linked polyethylene. A urethane plug is also included if you wish to block off the auxiliary air inlet. High Quality Tube: This system uses a high quality plastic CAD designed, dyno-tuned, roto-molded designed intake tube to fit with the stock mechanical fan and achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit. Large 3-Layer Performance Air Filter: This Momentum GT intake system was designed around the largest filter possible to allow maximum performance and filtration. This cone filter has a massive oval flange and is 9″ tall with an inverted top. The Pro DRY S performance air filter features 3-layers of progressive finer porosity synthetic media providing maximum convenience with 100% polyurethane frame for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. Premium Hardware: High quality premium clamps ensures the most secure installation available. Momentum intakes are designed with fewer parts for a quick and simple installation.

Air intake systems are a common first mod to many project cars. They are quick and simple to install while also enhancing the looks of your engine bay, the sounds of your engine, and the performance of your vehicle.
We often recommend upgrading your OEM intake to a cold air intake as one of the first modification your should do to your car. Often times, the factory airbox is restricting. Replacing your intake system with an aftermarket unit will increase intake noise, performance, and improve your overall driving experience.
